In every spiritual context the metaphor of the “door” exists; of crossing one threshold to another. “Crossing a threshold” can be about coming home to a greater power, oneself, a community that welcomes you. It can be about enlightenment and wisdom or about how faith and spirituality is lived out in activism, service, and action. It can be about many things.
